Palm Beach County elementary school teacher arrested on several child porn related charges told authorities he felt it was “art”
PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities have provided further information surrounding the elementary school teacher who was arrested on charges of child exploitation in Palm Beach County.
Edward Parker, who is 54 years old, allegedly confirmed to deputies that he had seen child pornographic material.
He also told authorities he felt it was “art,” according to an arrest record.
Parker was arrested on 10 counts of possessing 10 or more files of sexual performance by a child. These charges led to his arrest.
A judge set Parker’s bail at $150,000 and ordered him to have no contact with minors younger than 18 years old. He was also prohibited from having any interaction with other adults.
