West Palm Beach police looking into reports of shooting on Clematis Street

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The West Palm Beach Police Department is looking into reports of a gunshot that took place late Monday near a famous section of Clematis Street.

At around 1:30 in the morning, officers were sent to the 200 block of Clematis Street.

The investigation conducted by the police department was centered on a parking lot located between two restaurants, namely between South Olive Avenue and South Narcissus Avenue. The eateries in question were Grease Burger Bar and Lynora’s.

Clematis Street was closed for many hours as a result of the response of around a dozen police officers to the location.

The reporters from WPTV found at least half a dozen evidence markers dispersed throughout the ground in the parking lot, most of which were located on the south side of the lot.

Because the parking lot was very full at the time of the occurrence, those who had parked there had to wait for many hours until the police removed the tape and departed the scene of the crime.
