One person in custody following a shooting in College Gardens

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says that one person has been taken into custody after a shooting happened Friday night in the College Gardens area.

Police were sent to the 1900 block of Kings Road after receiving a call of a gunshot at around 7:30 p.m., according to the police.

The police say that a man in his early 30s who had not been identified was found with what looked like a gunshot wound in his arm.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, there is one individual who has been taken into custody and is now being questioned.

Police think this is an isolated incident.
