Firefighters found grow house after fire breaks out in Broward home

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – When firefighters went to a fire in Broward County, they found what looked like a house where marijuana was grown.

On Thursday, at about noon, the fire started in the building.

It took place inside a duplex that may be found in Oakland Park at the intersection of Northeast 33rd Street and 19th Avenue.

According to the authorities, the fire was put out in short order.

When the emergency workers got there, they found a small farm hidden in one of the bedrooms.

According to the firefighters, they discovered electrical cables flowing over the property.

There were no injuries that were recorded.

There has been no information provided on the possibility of criminal charges being brought.
