One fatally injured in a West Palm Beach accident

A man from Palm Beach County lost his life on Sunday in an incident in West Palm Beach involving a motorcycle and an SUV that occurred early in the morning.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the collision took place at around 12:45 a.m. near the junction of Military Trail and Wallis Road.

According to what the sheriff’s office said, the driver of a 2007 Toyota Highlander going north on Military Trail turned left onto Wallis Road, putting themselves right in front of a motorcycle going south on Military Trail.

The biker, a 30-year-old man who resides in Greenacres, applied the brakes on his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle, which then flipped over. Both the rider and the motorbike drifted toward the southward side of the SUV and collided with the passenger side.

When people from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue got to the scene, they found out that the motorcyclist had died there.

Both the driver of the SUV, who was a 44-year-old resident of West Palm Beach, and his passenger were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, drinking or narcotics may have been a contributing factor in the collision, and charges are now being prepared against the driver of the SUV.
