McDonald’s employee’s dark past catches up with him; arrested again, this time for the harassment of a minor coworker

A McDonald’s employee, who is also listed as a registered sex offender, was apprehended on Monday following allegations of sexual harassment towards an underage colleague in Broward County, according to reports.
According to local authorities, Jakeem Jackson, 31, from Lauderhill, is accused of inappropriately handling a 16-year-old co-worker. It is alleged that Jackson embraced the young girl, and even as she endeavored to extricate herself from the situation, he persistently maintained his hold.
Authorities further stated that Jackson, at one stage, allegedly touched the minor’s private area over her clothing. Upon this occurrence, the girl reportedly raised an alarm and insisted that Jackson disengage from her.
In response to the incident, the McDonald’s management reportedly terminated Jackson’s employment.
Jackson has a prior record of sexual misconduct. An arrest report discloses that he was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a 35-year-old disabled man in 2019. During this period, he was working as a driver for a program providing transportation services for disabled individuals throughout the U.S. Following his arrest in 2020, he was officially registered as a sex offender in March 2022.
For his recent conduct, Jackson has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious conduct by a person 18 years or older.
Subsequently, a judge set Jackson’s bond at $100,000 and issued a restraining order that prohibits him from contacting the victim or returning to the McDonald’s establishment where the incident took place.
