Governor Ron DeSantis names Joshua Kellam to serve on Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

Florida – Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Joshua Kellam to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), marking a significant addition to the agency responsible for managing the state’s natural resources. Kellam, known for his strong commitment to conservation and community involvement, brings a wealth of experience to this important role.

Currently serving as President of The Garcia Companies, Kellam is deeply engaged in Florida’s civic and environmental landscape. He holds positions on the T. Roosevelt Action Board and the Florida Council of 100, two influential groups focused on state progress and leadership. Additionally, Kellam is the Vice Chair of the Fish and Wildlife Foundation of Florida, demonstrating his long-standing dedication to protecting the state’s wildlife and natural habitats.

Kellam’s appointment is not his first connection to the FWC. These positions have helped him develop a broad understanding of water resource management and public service, which are crucial areas for the FWC’s mission.
