Governor Ron DeSantis appoints Stacy Plean to serve on the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees with Senate confirmation pending

Tallahassee, Florida – Governor Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Stacy Plean to the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees, adding a new voice to the leadership team guiding one of Florida’s prominent higher education institutions. The appointment will require confirmation by the Florida Senate before Plean officially assumes her duties.
Plean brings a wealth of professional and community experience to the board. She currently serves as a Broker Associate with LoKation Real Estate and is the Founder of The HomeSeeker Group, demonstrating her deep involvement in real estate and business development. Beyond her professional work, she has been actively engaged in public service, serving as a committee member for Florida’s Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Council, where she contributes to statewide efforts addressing Alzheimer’s and dementia-related concerns.
In addition to her advisory work, Plean holds several leadership roles within the real estate community. She is the 2026 Regional Vice President and Co-Chair of RPAC for Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors, and serves as Vice Chair of the Florida Realtors Board Certified Professionals. She also participates in policy-making at both state and national levels, serving on the National Association of Realtors State and Local Issues Policy Committee as well as the Florida Realtors Public Policy Committee.
Plean’s appointment reflects her commitment to both professional excellence and community engagement. Her background in business, public policy, and advocacy positions her to contribute meaningfully to the governance and strategic planning of Palm Beach State College.
