CSCCR Chamber launches free spring biz academy workshop series to help Coral Springs business owners grow and succeed
Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce is rolling out an exciting opportunity for local business owners and professionals this spring. In partnership with the City of Coral Springs, the Chamber has announced the launch of its Spring 2026 Biz Academy Series, a four-part workshop program aimed at helping entrepreneurs and business leaders grow their skills and strengthen their operations. Best of all, the series is completely free and open to the public.
“Supporting the growth and success of our local business community is at the heart of everything we do,” said Charinus Davis, president and CEO of the Chamber. “Through this Biz Academy series, we’re providing accessible, high-impact education that empowers professionals at every stage of their business journey.”
The series will feature expert-led sessions covering a range of essential business topics, from networking and human resources to financial literacy and access to capital. Each workshop is designed to be interactive, giving participants the chance to ask questions, share experiences, and walk away with practical strategies they can apply immediately in their workplaces.
All workshops will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Art Plumbing A/C & Electric, located at 4151 NW 124th Avenue in Coral Springs. The first session, “Be The Person They Remember,” will be held on Thursday, April 9, and will be led by Leandro Figuereo of Performance Title. The program is designed to help participants sharpen their personal brand and leave a lasting impression in professional settings.
On Thursday, April 16, the second workshop, “Scaling Your HR Strategy,” will be presented by Rose Farone of P&H Interiors. Attendees can expect guidance on optimizing human resources processes, building stronger teams, and creating workplace environments that attract and retain top talent.
Financial literacy takes center stage on Tuesday, May 5, with Lois Margolin of Lois Margolin, LLC leading a session on “Understanding Your Financial Statements.” Participants will gain insights into reading and interpreting their company’s financial documents, helping them make informed decisions that drive growth and sustainability.
The series concludes on Thursday, May 14, with a panel discussion titled “Cash Flow & Access to Capital.” Featuring experts Donna Denton of Flagstar Bank, James Lozano of Bank OZK, and Ken Sinclair of KMS Financial Consulting, this session promises a deep dive into funding strategies, managing cash flow, and unlocking new sources of capital to support expansion and innovation.
Space for the workshops is limited, and organizers strongly encourage advance registration to secure a spot. Interested participants can register online at www.csccrchamber.com.
For local professionals and business owners looking to strengthen their skills, the Biz Academy Series represents a valuable opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners and connect with fellow entrepreneurs. By offering these workshops free of charge, the Chamber underscores its commitment to fostering a thriving, resilient business community in Coral Springs and beyond.
Whether it’s improving personal branding, optimizing human resources, understanding financial statements, or navigating the complex world of funding and capital, the Spring 2026 Biz Academy Series aims to equip attendees with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
With the combination of expert instruction, practical strategies, and a collaborative environment, the series offers participants more than just information—it provides a chance to network, problem-solve, and grow alongside other motivated business professionals. For those ready to invest a few mornings in their professional development, these workshops could prove transformative for their careers and their businesses alike.
