One person killed following crash on MLK Parkway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Investigators with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol were called to a deadly car crash just before 2 a.m. Monday.

It happened on Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway near E 8th street in the Phoenix neighborhood.

FHP confirmed at least one person died on its traffic crash and road condition report.

All southbound lanes of MLK near Phoenix Ave are blocked.
