Weekend violence peaks in Broward County, leaving several wounded

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man has been shot and killed in the Alderman Park neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

At around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Alderman Road in response to a gunshot.

JSO reported discovering an individual with at least one gunshot wound.

Jacksonville Fire and Rescue said that the person was already deceased when they arrived.

The incident is being investigated by detectives.
