Another body found floating off the coast of Florida in less than two weeks

Juno Beach, Florida – Less than two weeks have passed since authorities found the body of a woman floating off the Florida coast, and now they have found another body, this time that of a man, in the waters off Juno Beach.

The body of the woman, which was discovered wrapped in bedding in a plastic trash bag on December 10 by a group of fishermen, has since been identified by authorities, but information about the cause of death was not revealed.

Now, authorities are investigating the death of the man who was found floating face down in the waters off Juno Beach.

Authorities in Palm Beach County received a call regarding a drowning at around 9:20 a.m. and immediately dispatched deputies and rescue crews to the scene. As soon as they arrived in the 1200 block of Ocean Drive, they noticed the man floating in the water close to the beach.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel pulled the man from the water and immediately took him to Jupiter Medical Center. Shortly after being admitted to the hospital, the man was declared dead.

No information about the man’s name or whether or not he was with someone at the time of the drowning has been made public.

Authorities said the medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to ascertain the cause of the man’s death.

The investigation remains open. Once more detail becomes available, we will update this story.
