Nearly 60,000 Skippack Medical Lab Covid-19 rapid test kits recalled, customers advised not to use them

Universal Meditech Inc. says that more than 56,000 COVID-19 antigen tests have been called back.

The company told everyone in the country to stop using the Skippack Medical Lab quick test kits.

They say that they were sent out without the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s permission or approval.

The test results could be wrong if the kits were used.

The products being recalled were made between October 2021 and December 2021 and sold in January 2022.

The company told customers to stop using the devices right away and get in touch with the distributor to return them.
