PALM BAY, Florida – A man was killed in a shooting on Saturday night, and Palm Bay police said in a statement on Sunday that they had made an arrest in the case.
Around 11 p.m., police were called to the 1000 block of Cromey Road NE, where they found a 48-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
According to the statement, the department’s suspect, 24-year-old Thomas Pastor Jr., was eventually found and taken into custody without any problems. Before Pastor was caught, police said, they looked into the situation and found that it was a domestic one.
Pastor was taken to Sharpes and charged with second-degree murder. Records show that he is being held with no bond right now.
