Sunday morning stabbing incident in Kingsland almost fatal for one person, the suspect arrested

KINGSLAND, Georgia — The Kingsland Police Department says that a man was arrested after he stabbed another man several times inside a home on Sunday morning.

At first, police were called to Garys Place around 1:30 a.m. because someone might have been stabbed. When the police got there, they found a man inside with several stab wounds.

Kingsland Fire Rescue and Camden County Fire Rescue took care of the person before taking them to UF Health Shands Hospital for more care.

Before police arrived, the suspect left the scene on foot, so Bloodhound teams from the Camden County Sheriff’s Office were called to find him.

KPD says that the suspect was later found walking with a witness on S. Grove Boulevard. The suspect was taken into custody after more interviews and a search warrant for the home.

Eduardo Balbuena Ramos, who is 27 years old, was charged with serious assault.

The crime is a felony, and the punishment is between one and twenty years in prison.

KPD says they are still looking into this, so anyone with more information should call them at 912-729-8254.
