Coral Springs Police are asking the public to help locate a 32-year-old man who went missing after leaving for a run

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 32-year-old man who has been missing since January 11. Thomas O’Brien was last seen in the early afternoon, leaving his home for a routine run near the 3000 block of 94th Avenue. Authorities say he has not returned and may be without his phone, wallet, or keys.
Police describe O’Brien as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 105 pounds. At the time he disappeared, he was wearing a white hat with “Lowe’s” printed on it, a gray sweatshirt with a green emblem on the front, gray shorts over gray sweatpants, and white-and-blue sneakers. The Coral Springs Police Department released this information in hopes that residents may recognize him or provide tips on his whereabouts.
“Anyone who sees O’Brien or has information about his whereabouts is urged to contact Coral Springs Police at 954-344-1800 or Detective Racine at 954-346-1757,” officials said. Police stress the importance of community involvement in cases like this, noting that even small pieces of information can make a difference in locating a missing person.
Authorities believe O’Brien may be disoriented or in need of assistance, which is why prompt reporting is crucial. Investigators continue to follow leads and are urging anyone who was in the area around the time he went missing to come forward.
The Coral Springs community has been asked to remain vigilant while O’Brien’s family and friends wait anxiously for news. Residents are encouraged to check local parks, running paths, and nearby streets where he might have been seen, and to report anything unusual to authorities immediately.
The police department emphasized that O’Brien’s disappearance is being treated seriously, and investigators are coordinating efforts to search for him while reaching out to neighboring jurisdictions in case he has traveled outside the immediate area.
As the search continues, the Coral Springs Police Department is appealing to the public’s sense of urgency and community responsibility to help bring O’Brien home safely. Every tip and sighting could be a key step toward locating him and reuniting him with his loved ones.
