30-year-old man fatally shot shot on Jacksonville’s northside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man of thirty years of age has passed away in the hospital. He was shot on the northside of Jacksonville, close to the Springfield neighborhood.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, many people have been interviewed, but no arrests have been made as of yet.

Cleveland Street is the location of the shooting that took place on Tuesday night. The specifics are sketchy, but we are aware that the murder team is looking into the incident.

At around 9 o’clock in the evening, police were called to the location, where they discovered a guy in his early 30s who had been shot. Jacksonville Fire & Rescue took him to the hospital, but he didn’t make it through his stay there.

At this moment, JSO has not shared any information that may be suspicious.

Sergeant Mike Russell said that the body of the person who died will be taken to the office of the medical examiner so that an autopsy can be done.
