Chabad Jewish Center in Coral Springs announces registration for Hebrew sShool program for upcoming academic year

Coral Springs, Florida – As the new school year draws near, the Chabad Jewish Center in Coral Springs is inviting local families to register their children for its Hebrew School program. With classes set to commence on Wednesday, September 3, and running weekly from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., the program offers an enriching educational experience for children aged 4 to 13, spanning from pre-K through seventh grade.
Chana Denburg, who manages the school alongside her husband, Rabbi Yankie Denburg, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming year. “The kids really love to come. It’s a joyful atmosphere of learning and activities,” she said. The Hebrew School is designed to be a fun and engaging environment where children can explore their heritage and strengthen their Jewish identity. “The lessons are fun and the staff is joyful. The kids love coming back,” Denburg added.
A cornerstone of the curriculum is the emphasis on Israel and the Jewish connection to the land, along with a deep dive into Jewish traditions, values, and community learning. The program aims to foster a strong sense of belonging and identity among the students, helping them connect with their cultural roots in meaningful ways.
Jacquelene Lieberman, a parent with two daughters enrolled in the program, has been vocal about her positive experience. She commended Chana Denburg’s dedication to educating and engaging the students. “There is no Hebrew school out there that does what Chana Denburg does,” Lieberman remarked. “She does an exceptional job educating, engaging and enlightening the Hebrew school students to build a strong Jewish foundation. The kids love Hebrew school! They have fun learning Hebrew with kids their own age. Chana makes sure they have a hands-on approach so this keeps the students engaged.”
Lieberman also highlighted the dynamic teaching style of Chana Denburg, describing her as “the most loving, genuine, full-of-energy and life Mora (teacher). The kids love her enthusiasm.” The Hebrew School program utilizes a curriculum known as Alef Champs, which tracks each student’s progress in learning Hebrew. This approach encourages students to advance through different levels, enriching their vocabulary and language skills. “Fun and exciting activities make the kids want to return the following week as they know they will be rewarded for their achievements,” Lieberman added.
Parents interested in enrolling their children should be aware that registration is open until August 21. After this date, a $50 late fee per family will be applied. The tuition for the 2025–26 school year is set at $800 per child, with an additional $50 registration fee per family. Notably, no membership dues are required, making the program accessible to a wide range of families.
