New Kosher food delivery service expands to Coral Springs offering lower prices and family support

Coral Springs, Florida – Families in Coral Springs looking for affordable kosher groceries now have a new option thanks to a nonprofit food delivery service that is expanding its reach in Northwest Broward and Palm Beach County. Kosher 4 Less, which has been serving parts of South Florida since 2009, aims to make kosher food more accessible and affordable for households in the area.
Ben Feferman, who recently joined Kosher 4 Less, said he is focused on easing the cost of kosher groceries for families in Coral Springs and beyond. “We cut out the big markups,” Feferman said. “Everyone has a hard time with kosher food and we try to make it easier for them.”
Originally known as the Miami Kosher Ko-Op, the organization delivers kosher meats, dairy products, and baked goods from its warehouse in Miami. By operating as a nonprofit, Kosher 4 Less claims it can offer prices that are 25–50 percent lower than traditional retail stores. Until now, the service mostly served other parts of South Florida, but the expansion will make it easier for families in Coral Springs to access affordable kosher options without leaving home.
The nonprofit serves approximately 700 customers each week and has a mission that goes beyond simply providing lower prices. Kosher 4 Less also offers discounts to families facing food insecurity and provides an avenue for donors to directly support households in need. “We want people with food insecurities to shop from home with dignity and order exactly what they want,” Feferman said.

Feferman’s involvement in community efforts spans several years. Before joining Kosher 4 Less, he ran a video gaming business but gradually became more engaged in Jewish community initiatives. He helped organize affordable matzo sales during Passover and distributed holiday items like lulav and etrog at reduced costs. That experience laid the foundation for his current work at Kosher 4 Less, where he is now focused on helping families in Coral Springs and surrounding communities gain access to affordable kosher groceries.
“It’s a good feeling when you can help people,” Feferman said. “Everyone who hears about this, loves it.” His efforts underscore the importance of community-based solutions in addressing rising grocery costs and food insecurity, particularly for families who observe kosher dietary laws.
The expansion into Coral Springs comes at a time when many families are looking for ways to manage grocery budgets without sacrificing quality or tradition. By delivering products directly from a central warehouse, Kosher 4 Less reduces overhead costs and passes the savings on to consumers. The service offers an extensive selection, including kosher meats, dairy, baked goods, and seasonal holiday items, ensuring that families can maintain their traditions while also stretching their budgets.
Kosher 4 Less not only offers convenience but also fosters a sense of connection and support within the community. Families can order from home and receive high-quality kosher products without the stress of navigating expensive grocery stores. Donors can contribute directly to help others, creating a cycle of giving and receiving that strengthens the local community.
