Rotary Club of Coral Springs hosts social event to connect nonprofits community leaders and residents committed to civic engagement

Coral Springs, Florida – The Rotary Club of Coral Springs is kicking off the new year with a social event designed to strengthen ties between local nonprofits, community leaders, and residents committed to civic engagement. The event, set for Thursday, Jan. 29, at TAP 42 on North University Drive, promises an evening of networking, collaboration, and shared purpose.

The social, beginning at 6 p.m., is more than a typical Rotary gathering. In addition to Coral Springs members, Rotarians from other clubs have been invited to attend, creating a broader platform for connecting with like-minded individuals and exploring opportunities for joint community initiatives. Organizers expect roughly 70 attendees, including nonprofit representatives, local leaders, and residents with a passion for service.

“This is a chance for people who care about our community to come together, introduce themselves, and learn about each other’s missions,” said a spokesperson for the Rotary Club of Coral Springs. The event is intended to foster partnerships that can translate into tangible results for the city, from volunteer programs to collaborative projects addressing local needs.

TAP 42, located at 3111 N. University Drive, will provide a relaxed setting for attendees to network, share ideas, and discover new ways to make an impact. By hosting the event at a local venue rather than a formal meeting hall, the club hopes to create a welcoming environment that encourages conversation, relationship-building, and spontaneous collaboration.

Community members interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP in advance to Sal Golfo to ensure they secure a spot. The Rotary Club emphasizes that the social is open not only to members but also to residents who want to engage with local initiatives and learn more about volunteer opportunities.

The event reflects the Rotary Club of Coral Springs’ ongoing commitment to civic engagement and public service. By connecting nonprofits with local leaders and residents, the club aims to strengthen community networks, identify shared goals, and encourage collaboration that benefits the broader Coral Springs area.

With a growing number of residents and organizations seeking ways to make a difference, events like the Rotary Club social play a key role in fostering a sense of shared purpose and community-minded action. For attendees, the evening offers the chance to discover partners, learn about local initiatives, and contribute to meaningful projects that improve the city and the lives of its residents.

As the Rotary Club of Coral Springs begins 2026, this social event serves as both a kickoff to the year and a reminder of the power of collaboration. By bringing people together in an informal yet purposeful setting, the club hopes to spark new partnerships, amplify the impact of local nonprofits, and inspire residents to take an active role in shaping the future of their community.
