Coral Springs Community Concert brings live music food trucks and business expo together at city hall for a citywide celebration
Coral Springs, Florida – Music, food, and community connection will come together once again as the City of Coral Springs prepares for its next Community Concert, this time adding a new feature that brings local business directly into the spotlight.
The event is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Coral Springs City Hall, where the city hall lawn will transform into an open-air festival space filled with live performances, food trucks, and family activities.
This edition of the concert series introduces something new—the Coral Springs Business Expo. Alongside the entertainment, residents will be able to walk through booths and meet local shop owners and business operators from across the city. The idea is to connect the community not just through music, but through everyday commerce and local services.
On stage, the night will open with the Jamboree Latin Band, setting a lively tone early in the evening. Later, FM Band Miami will take over as the headline act, bringing the main musical performance of the night. Between sets, entertainment will continue throughout the crowd with mariachi performers moving through the event space and interactive characters engaging attendees.
Families attending the concert will find plenty to keep children busy. Organizers have planned face painting stations, inflatable bounce areas, games, and arts and crafts activities designed to make the event welcoming for younger guests. The mix of music and hands-on activities has become a defining feature of the concert series, drawing residents of all ages.
Food will also play a central role in the evening. A wide lineup of food trucks will line the lawn, offering everything from desserts to full meals. Vendors include Cecilie’s Gourmet Italian Ices, Moop Gelato, Heavenly Churros, How Ya Dough’n, Tijuana Taxi, Dimelo Papi Pinchos, BC Tacos, Pick’s Roasted Corn, Dank Frank’s Hot Dogs, and Marco’s Top Burger. The variety reflects the city’s effort to highlight both local and diverse food options in one place.
To make the event more accessible, parking in the city hall garage will be free of charge. Guests are also allowed to leave their vehicles overnight if they choose to use ride-share services, particularly those who may be drinking during the event.
The city is also making the concert pet-friendly. Dogs are welcome, as long as they remain on leashes and owners clean up after them. Officials encourage guests to bring water bottles, which can be refilled at designated stations throughout the venue. Lawn chairs and blankets are also permitted, allowing attendees to settle in comfortably for the evening.
Accessibility remains a priority as well. Anyone needing assistance getting to or navigating the event can contact the city’s special events team at least five days in advance by calling 954-344-1111 or emailing [email protected].
By combining live music, a business showcase, food, and family-friendly activities, the Coral Springs Community Concert continues to evolve beyond a simple performance night. It has become a gathering point where residents can experience entertainment, support local businesses, and enjoy a shared evening in the heart of the city.
