A pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash, Lauderhill police investigating

Lauderhill, Florida – A pedestrian is moved to hospital in serious condition after a hit-and-run crash in Lauderhill.

On Friday shortly before 4 a.m. the incident occurred in the 3200 block of West Broward Boulevard, police said.

According to Lauderhill police Lt. Michael Santiago the victim had been crossing the roadway when a dark-colored, four-door sedan with dark-tinted windows and front-end damage struck him.

Santiago said the driver never stopped to help the victim and fled the scene.

According to Santiago, officers found the victim at the scene and immediately took him to Broward Health Medical Center, where he is listed in serious condition.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with further information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
