Man charged with allegedly pointing a gun to the head of teenager

Coral Springs, Florida – According to a police report, a Coral Springs man last week allegedly punched a 13-year-old boy and pointed a gun to the boy’s head outside an apartment close to the Commerce Park of Coral Springs.
A 23-year-old, Joshua Ware was charged with battery and aggravated assault with a firearm without intent to kill in the Tuesday incident outside his apartment in the 11500 block of NW 43 Court, just east of Coral Ridge Drive.
A surveillance video captured Ware walking out of his apartment and pointing a black long gun to the head of the boy, according to the report.
According to the boy’s mother, Ware also punched the boy in the face.
What led to the alleged incident wasn’t explained in the police report.
On Wednesday Ware posted bond on the charges and was released from jail, according to court records.
