Northwest Miami-Dade Walmart reopens

Northwest Miami-Dade, Florida – On Monday, a Walmart in Northwest Miami-Dade reopened after being closed for cleaning.
The store on Northwest 79th Street and 32nd Avenue has been closed since Saturday afternoon as crews sanitized the building and employees restocked the shelves.
According to Walmart, it’s part of the company’s initiative to keep employees and customers safe during the pandemic.
“Everything we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and the thousands of customers we serve daily, and in consideration of guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts. Given the rise in positive cases, we will follow CDC guidance, which includes fully vaccinated people wearing masks in public indoor settings in counties with substantial or high transmission,” a Walmart spokesperson said.
