Missing Child Alert issued by FDLE

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – An autistic child has been reported missing in Florida, and the state’s Department of Law Enforcement has joined the search for him.

The authorities report that Jojo Morales, who is six years old, has not been seen since Saturday.

It is thought that his father, Jorge Morales, who is 45 years old, took him without permission.

Since they split up three years ago, he and the child’s mother have been in a long legal battle over who gets to keep the child.

The family went to pick Jojo up from Morales’ residence in southwest Miami-Dade along Southwest 184th Avenue on Saturday evening, but neither of them could be seen anywhere.

CSI-U53 is the license plate that is shown on the father of Jojo, who drives a gray 2006 Ford Expedition.

Calling the Miami-Dade police at 305-596-8176 or the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at 1-888-FL-MISSING is strongly encouraged for anybody who may have seen Jojo or who may have any information on the child’s location.
