Authorities still investigating Palatka shooting that left several people injured

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A fatal shooting on Saturday evening in Palatka drew a significant police presence in the area of Vick’s Supper Club.

After receiving a report of a shooting involving four victims, officials went to the scene. According to the Palatka Police Department, two of those victims have passed away after the incident occurred.

Investigators have revealed that they have identified a suspect and are now seeking to locate that individual. The authorities suspect that an argument was the catalyst for the shooting. Processing has begun on a number of automobiles that have been damaged by bullets.

Because of the large number of ambulances that were sent to the site of the incident, authorities from Putnam County sought assistance from the counties that are located nearby.
