Coral Springs spa arrest brings new licensing charge against woman awaiting racketeering trial
Coral Springs, Florida – A Coconut Creek woman awaiting trial in a racketeering case faces a new criminal charge following her arrest at a Coral Springs spa.
Qiuyue Wang, 64, was arrested October 14 at Ocean Spa, 8243 W. Atlantic Blvd. Broward County jail records list one charge of practicing without a license or with a suspended or revoked license. Her bond was listed at $5,000.
The jail record does not explain what brought officers to the business or describe the circumstances leading to the charge. The arrest represents Wang’s third criminal case since 2022.

The earliest case involved an Orchid Spa in Martin County. Deputies accused Wang of offering an undercover detective a sex act for $30. She pleaded no contest, paid fines and completed community service. The judge did not enter a conviction.
A separate investigation led to her arrest by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on February 27, 2025. That case involved another business named Orchid Spa, located at 4959 Coconut Creek Parkway in Coconut Creek.
Court records cited in the report list racketeering, conspiracy, money laundering and prostitution-related charges in the Broward case. Wang pleaded not guilty, and the case remains pending.
Following the 2022 and February 2025 arrests, the Florida Department of Health issued an emergency order suspending Wang’s massage therapist license on August 21, 2025. State records reviewed for the report continued to list the license as suspended.

Wang’s racketeering trial had been scheduled for April 2026 but has not begun. According to the report, a judge granted her attorney’s requests for additional time in July 2025, November 2025 and April 2026. Her next court date in that case is January 25, 2027.
In April 2025, Wang signed a pretrial services agreement with the Broward Sheriff’s Office that included a requirement to obey all laws. The report does not establish how the new licensing charge might affect that agreement or the pending racketeering proceedings.
Court and state health records identify Wang’s home address as being in Coconut Creek. State records also connect her to massage businesses in Stuart, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Coconut Creek, most of which are inactive.
The latest arrest concerns the single licensing charge listed in the jail record. It is separate from the unresolved racketeering case, in which Wang has denied the charges through her not-guilty plea. Neither pending case establishes guilt.
