Man in critical condition after bein shot in head; suspect arrested

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a man was brought into custody on Monday night after another man who had been shot in the head and was in critical condition was sent to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

At around 6:15 p.m., authorities were sent to the location on Cabot Drive North to conduct an investigation, as stated by Sgt. Lessard of the Sheriff’s Office. They discovered a guy in his 30s who had been shot and brought him to the hospital.

During the course of a traffic check on Fox Island Drive, according to Lessard, a suspect was taken into custody.

It was said that this was a one-off occurrence. According to Lessard, the suspect and the victim were familiar with one another.

According to Lessard, the shooting was not related to a domestic dispute.
