12-year-old girl reported missing from Pompano Beach

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – A young girl was reported missing in the Broward County area, and the authorities are now searching for her.

The Missing Persons Unit of the Broward Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the general public for assistance in locating Emma Bleidt, who is 12 years old and from Pompano Beach.

On Thursday at around 2:00 p.m., Bleidt was last seen at the Cypress Run Alternative School, which is situated at 2800 Northwest 30th Avenue.

She is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has brown eyes and reddish-blonde hair, according to reports.

The last time anybody saw her, she was wearing black, blue, and white Nike sneakers, khaki slacks, and a white pullover with the number 21 printed on it.

Investigators have a strong suspicion that Bleidt is now in the city of Lauderhill.
