Approximately 500 residents will be left without water service due to repairs along Everest Parkway in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Work will take place in Cape Coral on Monday as crews are scheduled to replace two fire hydrants that are located along Everest Parkway.

Approximately 500 residents will be left without service because the water main will be shut down due to the repair.

It is anticipated that the work will be finished by the end of the day.

Users are advised by officials to use bottled water or boil their tap water as an abundance of precaution after access to drinking water is restored until the advisory is lifted.

This advisory covers all uses of water, such as drinking, cooking, making ice, washing dishes, and brushing your teeth.
