Northwest Miami-Dade traffic incident results with 1 adult and 1 child injured, taken to hospital for treatment

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Florida – A child and at least one adult were hit by a car in Northwest Miami-Dade. Rescue workers took the child and at least one adult to the hospital.

At about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue units went to the scene of a single-vehicle crash near Northwest 186th Street and 67th Avenue.

7SkyForce flew over a number of police cars and rescue vehicles at the intersection where the accident happened.

When they were hit, the people were crossing the road.

Two of the people who were hurt have been flown by helicopter to Ryder Trauma Center, but their conditions are not known. Another victim may have been taken to the hospital on the ground, but officials haven’t said for sure.

The driver stayed at the scene of the accident.

Police haven’t said anything else about the crash because they are still looking into it.
