“Badly decomposed” man’s body found in Wellington canal, more details expected after the autopsy

WELLINGTON, Florida — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that the body of a man was found floating in a canal in Wellington.

It was found on Saturday in the Rolling Rock area.

“No wrongdoing is suspected,” said PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera.

She also said that the body was “badly rotten” and that an autopsy would have to be done.
