Teenager arrested for last year’s shooting incident near Boynton Beach, police

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Florida — A deadly shooting near Boynton Beach late last year led to the arrest of an 18-year-old man. Deputies called the shooting a “rolling gun battle.”

In the Dec. 29 shooting on Mentone Road in the San Castle neighborhood, an innocent bystander was killed, which scared and upset the residents.

Jeffrey Milord, who was 17 years old when the shooting happened and lives in Boynton Beach, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the murder.

He is being charged with second-degree murder with a gun, firing a gun from a car, and having a gun while he is a criminal.

The victim, who was 24 years old, was eating in his garage when a stray bullet got into his house and hit him in the head.

In the case of Milord, a probable cause affidavit said that surveillance video helped deputies catch him.

He is being held without bond in the main Palm Beach County jail.
