Fort Lauderdale hit-and-run leaves victim with serious injuries

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Authorities are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred in Fort Lauderdale on Friday morning, leaving one woman hospitalized with severe injuries.

The incident unfolded at approximately 9 a.m. in the 2600 block of Northwest 13th court. According to reports, a car struck a woman and fled the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, the Broward Sheriff’s Office discovered a woman who had sustained injuries as a result of the incident. Emergency services were immediately called, and the victim was transported to a hospital for medical attention.

Although the victim’s identity and condition have not been disclosed, her family members have identified her as Antanisha Gore.

Authorities investigating the case have determined that the victim had been engaged in an ongoing altercation with another woman, who intentionally ran her over before fleeing the scene.

“I have no idea. They have been friends for a long time, so I don’t know why the incident occurred,” said Gore’s mother, Tina.
