Aldi’s expansion continues with Coral Springs store, grand opening set for June 8

Coral Springs, Florida – Aldi, a leading discount grocery chain with an aggressive expansion plan of opening 120 new outlets across the United States this year, has confirmed the opening date for its latest store in Broward County.

Located at 651 N. University Dr., Coral Springs, Aldi’s new store is slated to open its doors to customers on June 8, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m., as per the information available on Aldi’s website. The store will maintain daily operating hours from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

To celebrate the grand opening, Aldi is offering its customers several exciting opportunities. Between June 8-11, customers visiting the store stand a chance to win a $500 gift card. Moreover, the first 100 customers on the grand opening day will be gifted a golden ticket, which could potentially be worth up to $100. These early bird customers will also be treated to a complimentary bag filled with Aldi merchandise. Furthermore, all shoppers can receive a free tote during the same period, subject to availability of stock.

Aldi’s expansion strategy has been on an upward trajectory, with a recent store inauguration at 1690 S. Ferdon Blvd., Crestview, on May 18 and another store poised to open in Miami at 3750 S. Dixie Highway on June 1.

Based in Illinois, Aldi shared its ambitious plans to augment its U.S. presence by adding 120 new stores to its portfolio in 2023. This move will bring Aldi’s total U.S. footprint to over 2,400 stores. In accordance with its growth strategy, Aldi made significant strides in 2022, opening and refurbishing 139 stores, and adding 35 new stores in the first quarter alone, as stated in a recent press release.

As a result of this ongoing expansion, Aldi anticipates creating employment opportunities for approximately 2,000 new employees.
