Suspect in hit-and-run leads police on a multi-county chase from Broward to Miami-Dade

Miami-Dade County, Florida – In an event that occurred on Friday night, a motorist attempted to evade law enforcement, leading officers on a high-speed pursuit that initiated in Broward County and terminated in Miami-Dade.

The chase commenced after an officer from the Miramar Police Department identified the driver as a potential suspect in a hit-and-run incident that had earlier transpired in the vicinity of Southwest 23 Street and 60 Way in Miramar. This incident had escalated into an altercation on Friday, according to police reports.
