Florida Woman wins $1 million from Gold Rush Limited scratch-off
Broward County, Florida – The Florida Lottery has verified that a resident of Broward County has won a $1 million prize by participating in the Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game.
Gena Kanov, a 37-year-old woman from Weston, claimed her substantial prize at the Miami Lottery Headquarters, as confirmed by the lottery officials.
Kanov elected to receive her prize in a single, lump-sum payment, amounting to $795,000.
The victorious ticket was purchased at a Publix grocery store located at 5950 Coral Ridge Dr., Coral Springs. As a result of selling the winning scratch-off ticket, the store is set to receive a $2,000 bonus commission.
In a recent press release, the Florida Lottery elaborated on the Gold Rush Limited game, stating, “The $20 Scratch-Off game, GOLD RUSH LIMITED, launched in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million! Additionally, this ticket is filled with more than 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.”
