Investigation underway into suspicious death of one-year-old in Broward County

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The Broward County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the suspicious death of a one-year-old child, as confirmed by authorities.

The sheriff’s office received an emergency medical call related to the child just after 6 a.m., which led them to a residential area located on the 3800 block of SW 58th Terrace. The details of this incident were outlined in an official communication from the sheriff’s office.

Furthermore, specialists from the department’s homicide division, along with the crime scene investigation team, were dispatched to the site where the unfortunate discovery of the deceased child was made.

The authorities have expressed that an autopsy, an essential step in such investigations, will be carried out to establish both the cause and the circumstances surrounding the child’s untimely death.
