Over 750 backpacks distributed to veterans’ families in Fort Lauderdale
Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The United Way of Broward County conducted its yearly backpack distribution event, benefiting military veterans and their kin.
At the assembly held on Wednesday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale, materials for distribution were generously furnished by local enterprises.
During the event, volunteers facilitated the handover of over 750 backpacks, each laden with educational supplies, priming students for the imminent academic year.
