Fort Lauderdale announces sewer main repair along Riviera Isle Drive

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – The City of Fort Lauderdale has collaborated with Southern Underground Industries to begin repairs to the 8-inch gravity sewer main situated along Riviera Isle Drive / SE 25 Avenue, specifically south of Acacia Court in Riviera Isles.

The construction is slated to begin on Monday, August 14, 2023, and conclude on Friday, August 18, 2023. While the standard work schedule will be from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, there is a potential for modifications in response to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists are advised of probable traffic disturbances during this period. Specifically, one southbound lane near 630 SE 25 Avenue on Riviera Isle Drive / SE 25 Avenue will be restricted on August 14 and 15, whereas one northbound lane on the same roadway will be impacted from August 16 to 18. Traffic regulation will be overseen by dedicated personnel.
