City of Hollywood suspends parking fees ahead of a predicted tropical system

Hollywood, Florida – The city has issued a notice in response to forecasts of an impending mild tropical system. This system is expected to produce heavy rainfall, significant winds, and lightning, raising concerns about potential localized flooding.

In anticipation of these conditions, the city has made the decision to waive parking fees for Hollywood residents in two designated parking facilities until 8 a.m. on Monday, August 21st.

The specific garages where fees are currently suspended are the Van Buren Garage, located at 251 S. 20th Ave., and the Radius Garage at 251 N. 19th Ave. Residents wishing to utilize this provision are required to present evidence of their Hollywood residency.
