Why a Coral Glades student was arrested this month is revealed via a police report: He allegedly kicked a police officer and wrestled with the vice principal

Coral Springs, Florida – A police report revealed what led to a student getting arrested at Coral Glades High School in Coral Springs earlier this month during a fight.

Christopher Lamarre, 18, was taken into custody after wrestling with the school’s vice principal and kicking a police officer several times, according to the arrest report.

He faces a battery charge on a law enforcement officer and two charges for battery on public employees.
His arrest happened on Nov. 22 after a fight started in the school and school security staff and police rushed in.
Lamarre then got involved, grabbing an officer’s arm to free another student from the officer’s grip, the report said.

As tensions rose, Lamarre wrestled with the vice principal on the ground in the courtyard in front of the school office, the report said.

During the fight, he kicked a police officer several times in the chest, the report said.
Following his arrest, he was taken to Broward County Jail and later released on bail.
