The first cheerleading competition of the season is held at Coral Glades High

Coral Springs, Florida – Coral Glades High School kicked off their journey towards a State Championship by hosting the inaugural competition of the year.

The Jaguars faced off against Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Coral Springs Charter, South Broward Ft. Lauderdale, Boyd H. Anderson, and Monarch High School. The Jaguars recently secured a third-place finish at the State Championship, following their first-place victory at Districts and a fifth-place showing at B Regionals in the extra-large non-tumbling division.

Last year, the Panthers secured a fourth-place finish in the co-ed division at the States and consistently ranked in the top three in their earlier tournaments.

The Lady Colts secured 11th place at State in the small non-tumbling division, while the Eagles achieved a commendable second place in the medium non-tumbling division.

These schools will maintain their practice routines as they gear up for the upcoming BCAA, District, Regional, and State Championships in the new year.
