Gelato Shop expands delivery options in Coral Springs, Parkland, and Coconut Creek and switches to online-only service

Parkland, Florida – Beginning January 1, Parkland’s Glyk Gelato, a family-run gelato shop, will exclusively operate online. Counter service will no longer be available at its physical site at 7515 State Road 7.

Known for its handmade, Kosher Italian gelato, Glyk Gelato was founded in 2016 by Jaime and Sam Kellerstein. Originally from Mexico, the father-son pair spent time honing their skills in Italy before constructing the company.

“We’re moving to our online store,” Sam Kellerstein informed via email. He also mentioned that the change will concentrate on home delivery and increasing availability in nearby supermarkets.
Consumers can place orders for in-store pickup or delivery online at glyk.com.

The decision is a big shift for the ice cream company, which has a loyal customer base because to its real, small-batch sweets.

Because gelato contains less air and butterfat than American ice cream, it has a creamier texture.
“We’re really thankful to everyone, and it’s been a great ride serving all of our family, friends, and guests at our location in Parkland,” Kellerstein said.

“We are confident that, with God’s help, these modifications will enable us to bring our favorite gelato closer to them and to more people.”
