An attempted kidnapping outside of Coral Springs is being investigated by police
Coral Springs, Florida – A potential kidnapping outside the Vizcaya at Lake Coral Springs neighborhood off Lakeview Drive in southern Coral Springs is being looked into by police.
A man on a motorcycle was spotted loitering outside the gate last week, according to the homeowners organization for the neighborhood.
In an email alert sent to homeowners on January 31, the association’s board of directors stated that he had donned a black mask at some time and then followed and approached a youngster who had been dropped off by the school bus and was waiting for her parents.
The association reports that it occurred just after 4 p.m.
Residents are being asked by the police to remind their kids to be vigilant and to report any suspicious behavior right away.
