A man from Coral Springs takes bolts from the Target store and cash from the register

Coral Springs, Florida – According to authorities, a sly thief was apprehended last week after he reached into a cash register at a Target store in Coral Springs and fled.

According to a police complaint, Bryan Rojas, 28, of Coral Springs, entered the business on 9600 Westview Drive at approximately 9:12 a.m. on February 4 and lingered for approximately half an hour before coming to a checkout lane.

According to the report, Rojas was seen buying a bag of crackers on surveillance film, but as soon as the cashier opened the register to give him change, he rushed forward, thrust his hand inside, and grabbed several $5 dollars.

Then he ran on foot out of the store. Rojas, who fit the suspect’s description, was discovered by police investigating the crime close to the store’s bike rack.

The cashier recognized him and he was arrested.

A search revealed two $5 bills in his wallet, the report said. Rojas was charged with burglary and taken to the Broward County jail.
