The Coral Springs Police and Fire Departments are preparing to host their highly anticipated annual Touch-A-Truck event to support Autism Awareness

Coral Springs, Florida – The Coral Springs Police and Fire Departments are inviting the community to take part in their annual Touch-A-Truck event on April 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mullins Hall Parking Lot (10170 NW 29th Street). This special event is designed to provide a sensory-friendly experience for individuals with Autism or cognitive delays, allowing them to explore public safety vehicles in a comfortable and welcoming setting.

A Unique, Hands-On Experience

Touch-A-Truck is more than just a fun-filled event—it’s a chance for children and adults with sensory sensitivities to get up close with police cars, fire trucks, and other emergency response vehicles in a low-stress environment. They will also have the opportunity to interact with first responders, ask questions, and learn more about the vital role these professionals play in the community.
