The Motherhood Village opens in Coral Springs bringing a new space dedicated to supporting moms and their children with fun activities and community connection

Coral Springs, Florida – A fresh wave of support and connection for mothers and children has arrived in Coral Springs with the official opening of The Motherhood Village, a new space designed to meet the needs of families through play, learning, and community-building.
Located in The Walk at 2902 University Drive, The Motherhood Village offers nearly 5,000 square feet of thoughtfully designed space. Inside, visitors will find a variety of rooms dedicated to child-friendly activities, including gymnastics, dance, arts and crafts, rock climbing, and even a sensory room for children who need a soothing environment to feel comfortable. Plans are already in motion to expand offerings with a STEM room and a summer camp program.
But The Motherhood Village isn’t just for kids. At its core, the space was created with mothers in mind—offering a café for socializing or unwinding, a private area for events and workshops, and a full calendar of support groups and programs specifically geared toward helping moms connect, reflect, and recharge.
“Everything is going great,” said founder Nicole Cumberbatch. “We’re just getting started and have a lot more coming.”
Cumberbatch, a Coral Springs resident with a background in accounting and human resources, first launched The Motherhood Village in 2020—not as a physical space, but as a podcast. Her inspiration came from her own struggles with the difficult balance between motherhood and a demanding career. The podcast quickly resonated with local moms, and what began as conversations turned into something much more.
Cumberbatch’s efforts evolved into community meetups and an annual conference, drawing growing interest and laying the groundwork for what would become a permanent hub for moms and kids alike. Earlier this month, she finally opened the doors to her dream space, transforming the former home of WowMoms World into a bright, welcoming center of activity.
From weekday toddler playdates to weekend family events, the calendar is already filling up. Cumberbatch’s mission remains simple but powerful—give mothers a space where they can show up as they are, find encouragement, and let their children grow in a safe, engaging environment.
The center is also being praised for its inclusive design, which incorporates activities for children of varying needs and abilities, including the carefully crafted sensory room. The café and event space further reflect Cumberbatch’s understanding of what modern moms are looking for—a blend of support, community, and flexibility all in one place.

As Cumberbatch continues to grow her vision, The Motherhood Village is quickly becoming more than just a space—it’s a movement that started with a podcast and now stands as a vibrant, brick-and-mortar tribute to the strength and resilience of motherhood.
