Governor Ron DeSantis announces the Appointment of Robert Ostrov to fill a judicial vacancy in Hendry County

Robert Ostrov, a well-regarded attorney and experienced general magistrate, has been appointed to fill the vacancy left by Judge Darrell Hill’s elevation.
Ostrov, who hails from Wellington, brings extensive legal experience to his new role. Since 2018, he has served as a General Magistrate for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, where he worked on a variety of family law matters and legal disputes. Additionally, Ostrov has been the Managing Partner of his own law firm, the Law Offices of Robert L. Ostrov, since 2007. His deep legal background and hands-on experience in the courtroom will be invaluable as he transitions into his role as a county court judge.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and went on to receive his juris doctor from Fordham University.
