Coral Springs high schools honor their 2025 valedictorians whose achievements include national research publications and academic scholarships

Coral Springs, Florida – As the end of the school year draws near, four Coral Springs high schools are shining a spotlight on their top seniors—students whose academic excellence, leadership roles, and community engagement have set them apart. With graduation season fast approaching, Coral Glades High School, Coral Springs High School, J.P. Taravella High School, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are preparing to honor their valedictorians and salutatorians. These students have not only topped their classes but have built impressive resumes that include research accomplishments, extracurricular leadership, and college-level coursework. Here’s a closer look at the individuals who will represent the Class of 2025 in Coral Springs.
At Coral Glades High School, valedictorian Ashleen Kaur has distinguished herself both in and out of the classroom. As a National Honor Society President and a Silver Knight Nominee, Ashleen has demonstrated leadership and service throughout her high school career. She also earned Associate Degree Recognition, placing her in the top 10% of her class academically. Next fall, she plans to head to Georgetown University to study economics, a field that aligns with her passion for understanding markets and financial systems. Following closely behind Ashleen is salutatorian Kyrin Williams, who also graduated in the top 10% of the class and earned Associate Degree Recognition. Kyrin’s achievements have paved the way for a smooth transition to Florida State University, where she intends to major in accounting. Both students have proven that hard work, dedication, and a commitment to extracurricular involvement can yield outstanding results.
Over at Coral Springs High School, valedictorian Camden Hulse has built a remarkable academic profile centered on mathematics and engineering. His research was published in the Parabola journal at UNSW Sydney, and he even introduced a new mathematical series and definition for Graham’s number—an accomplishment few high school students can claim. Camden also participated in Jane Street AMP 2025 and MathROOTS 2024 at MIT, showcasing his advanced problem-solving abilities. Next fall, he’ll join the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida to major in electrical engineering. Following Camden’s lead is salutatorian Gabriella Stubblefield, who boasts an AICE Diploma with Merit, the Gold Seal of Biliteracy, and an Associate of Arts degree from Broward College (expected May 2025). As a certified member of the National Society of High School Scholars, she plans to study business management at the University of Florida. Their accomplishments illustrate the school’s emphasis on rigorous academic programs and the power of early college coursework.
J.P. Taravella High School’s top seniors have equally impressive records. Valedictorian Jacob Natale holds an AICE Cambridge Diploma and has secured 100% Bright Futures through the Florida Academic Scholars program. As an Industry Certification Scholar and President’s Gold Scholarship recipient, he has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement while completing an Associate of Arts degree during high school. Jacob’s membership in the National Science Honor Society further highlights his commitment to science and technology. He plans to attend Florida Gulf Coast University’s Honors College, where he will major in bioengineering with a minor in computer science—fields that perfectly align with his scholarly interests. Meanwhile, salutatorian Melanie Ochoa Cordova has held leadership positions such as Class President for Debate, ranked in the top six in the state for debate, and competed internationally in DECA. This summer, she plans to perform salsa in Puerto Rico, reflecting her diverse talents. Melanie will continue her academic journey at the University of Miami, double-majoring in economics and psychology. Her blend of academic prowess and extracurricular leadership exemplifies the spirit of Taravella’s student body.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s valedictorian, Adam Shaikh, has balanced athletic achievement with academic excellence. A Brian Piccolo Scholar-Athlete, he placed in the top three at the FSU College of Medicine Summer Institute research competition and scored in the 99th percentile on the National Merit Qualifying Test. Adam also earned an AP Capstone Diploma and was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction. His plan to study microbiology on a pre-med track at the University of Florida aligns with his research background and athletic discipline. Following closely is salutatorian Preeti Kumar, who has been recognized at DECA’s ICDC for the Professional Selling Event and organized a Joe DiMaggio Toy Drive, logging over 550 service hours. Preeti will attend Cornell University in the fall to major in information science, a field that merges her interests in technology and community engagement.
These eight students have not only excelled academically but have also contributed richly to their schools and communities. As they prepare to don their caps and gowns, their achievements serve as a testament to the support of dedicated teachers, involved families, and a school community that encourages students to dream big. Coral Springs’ Class of 2025 valedictorians and salutatorians exemplify the hard work, passion, and vision that will carry them forward into their college careers and beyond.
